This old style stone bridge is on Roger Williams Avenue in East Providence. It's a section known as the old village of Phillipsdale. This bridge has always felt like a gateway to a distant time. The homes beyond this bridge are out of the 18th and 19th centuries. Mills in the area date back to the Industrial Revolution. Driving a car through this section of East Providence feels anachronistic.
