We received a light dusting of about an inch of snow overnight. The snow was a bit wet so it stuck to just about everything, including the tops of my shrubs and the limbs of my neighbor's apple tree. The challenge was capturing the color details without an overpowering sky or snow blanket. The sky was a flat overcast grey, and that didn't help the situation at all.
I'll need to spend a bit more time with my camera in the yard. While I was photographing the snow, a cardinal, sparrow, and blue jay flew in for a visit. The jay found its way into this collection as well, taking up the "B" spot and also qualifying for today's PAD photo.
